FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today, in line with the underlying cash market performance.

At the close, June 2025 rose 12.5 points to 1,508.5 and July 2025 increased by 12.0 points to 1,506.0, while September 2025 gained 11.0 points to 1,486.0 and December 2025 was 10.0 points higher at 1,490.0.

Turnover expanded to 17,020 lots from 7,082 lots on Friday, while open interest jumped to 55,359 contracts from 44,764 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose by 0.92 per cent or 13.87 points to 1,516.61 from Friday’s close of 1,502.74.
