Sabah’s Aerial Tech Showcases Full-Scope Drone Capabilities At SOGCE 2025

By Jailani Hasan

KOTA KINABALU, July 4 (Bernama) -- Sabah’s own Aerial Tech and Defense System Sdn Bhd is making waves at the Sabah Oil, Gas and Services Exhibition (SOGSE) 2025 by showcasing its comprehensive unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) capabilities.

The company, based in East Malaysia, presents itself as a fully integrated UAV solutions provider with services rooted in three core areas, namely UAV project operations, a certified training academy, and specialist UAV consultancy.

Its chief executive officer Dr Rayjindra Kumar said that far more than just a drone operator, Aerial Tech is positioning itself as a drone ecosystem builder with a strong focus on world-class execution, local talent development, and scalable systems.

“We are not here just to fly drones. We are here to make Sabah a UAV powerhouse. Our mission is clear  -- to train our people, serve our industries, and let the world know Sabah leads from the front,” he said.

The company offers a wide range of specialised UAV services tailored to the oil and gas and maritime sectors.

These include offshore and onshore asset inspections, confined space and tank inspections using ultrasonic testing and thermal imaging, pipeline right-of-way monitoring and 3D corridor mapping, as well as flare stack and chimney inspections.

It also provides emergency response aerial surveillance, maritime surveillance and vessel tracking, as well as advanced corrosion detection and structural reporting using artificial intelligence-powered tools. Security and surveillance inspections are also among its capabilities.

Aerial Tech’s presence at SOGSE 2025 signals its ambition and readiness to take Sabah’s UAV industry to new heights.

With deep local roots and a forward-looking global vision, the company is determined to fly for Sabah, from Sabah, to the world.
