FBM KLCI Futures Mostly Higher At Opening

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly higher on Thursday.

As at 9.23 am, spot month August 2025 edged up 0.5 of a point to 1,543.50, December 2025 rose three points to 1,527.50, and March 2026 added 1.5 points to 1,509.0, while September 2025 eased 0.5 of a point to 1,523.50.

Turnover stood at 877 lots, with open interest at 38,826 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI dipped 2.87 points to 1,538.59 after 42 minutes of trading, compared with Wednesday’s close of 1,541.48.
