Ecoscience's Unit Secures RM40 Mln Palm Oil Refinery Plant Contract

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 (Bernama) -- Ecoscience International Bhd’s (EIB) wholly owned subsidiary Ecoscience Manufacturing and Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a RM40 million contract for the construction and installation of a palm oil and fat refinery plant in Johor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the letter of award was accepted today from an oil process engineering company to undertake the construction of buildings and infrastructure, and installation works for the proposed refinery plant.

“The amount for the works contract is RM40 million and is expected to be completed on or before July 1, 2026,” it said.

The company said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings but will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ interests.
