FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 17 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Wednesday.

At the close, spot month September 2025 and December 2025 rose 18.5 points each to 1,607.0 and 1,598.0, respectively. 

October 2025 advanced 19 points to 1,603.5, while March 2026 was 17.5 points higher at 1,578.0.

Turnover improved to 8,161 lots from 3,789 last Friday, while open interest increased to 45,871 contracts from 41,317 contracts previously.

The FBM KLCI rose 11.57 points to 1,611.70 from last Friday’s close of 1,600.13.

The exchange was closed on Sept 15 due to an additional public holiday declared in conjunction with Malaysia Day on Sept 16.
