Xsolla Named Headline Sponsor Of Global Game Jam 2026
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 24 (Bernama) -- Xsolla, a global video game commerce company, has entered into a new partnership with Global Game Jam (GGJ), serving as the Headline Sponsor for the 2026 event cycle as part of its continued support for game developers worldwide.
GGJ brings together tens of thousands of participants annually to create games, learn new skills and collaborate in a community-driven environment. Through the partnership, Xsolla and GGJ will roll out new educational initiatives, co-branded content and direct support aimed at both aspiring developers and experienced creators alike.

This year’s diversifier will focus on Cross-Platform Play, encouraging teams to design and create games that connect seamlessly across personal computer (PC), web and mobile platforms.
While core gameplay remains consistent, user interfaces and controls can be adapted for different devices, with teams able to integrate additional diversifiers to enhance creativity and discoverability.
As part of the collaboration, Xsolla will host a Global Game Jam site at its Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, office, alongside additional workshops and hands-on support designed to help developers launch, grow and win.
GGJ continues to serve as a key entry point for emerging talent and a global gathering for developers, educators, students and studios.
Xsolla said the partnership strengthens the connection between learning, creation and long-term opportunities for creators across the international game development ecosystem.
