Attindas Accelerates European Expansion With Italy-based SILC Acquisition
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 (Bernama) -- Attindas Hygiene Partners has acquired Italy-based Società Italiana Lavorazione Cellulosa (SILC S.p.A.), taking a significant step forward in executing its growth strategy.
In a statement, Attindas said the transaction was completed through a share purchase agreement under which it acquired all shares of the 53-year-old, family-owned hygiene products manufacturer.
Attindas chief executive officer, Esther Berrozpe said the deal supports Attindas’ strategy to meet rising demand for essential hygiene products in Europe and North America, adding that SILC’s market presence, reputation, and values make it a strong strategic fit.
SILC supplies high-quality, absorbent hygiene and skincare products to customers across Europe from its manufacturing facility in Trescore Cremasco, near Milan.
The acquisition strengthens Attindas’ footprint across northern and southern Europe, enhancing its ability to serve both regional and export markets more efficiently.
SILC will continue operating as usual while being integrated into Attindas over the coming months.
Attindas operates across North America and Europe through a portfolio of businesses, serving markets in the United States, Canada, Europe, and selected export regions.
Its core product lines focus on adult incontinence and infant care, distributed through retail, direct-to-consumer, and private label channels, alongside established brands such as Attends, Incopack, Indasec, Chelino, Comfees, and Reassure.
