KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, March 2 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Monday, in line with the subdued performance of the cash market.

At the close, March 2026 shaved 18 points to 1,675.0, new contract month April 2026 stood at 1,676.5, June 2026 receded 17 points to 1,680.0 and September 2026 shed 16 points to 1,665.0.

Turnover eased to 11,401 lots from 14,610 lots on Friday, while open interest slipped to 49,417 contracts from 55,247 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) declined 16.40 points, or 0.95 per cent, to 1,700.21, from Friday’s close of 1,716.61.
