Malaysia’s Palm Oil Stocks Down 3.94 Pct To 2.7 Million Tonnes In February 2026 -- MPOB

KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s palm oil stocks dropped 3.94 per cent or 111,062 tonnes to 2.7 million tonnes in February 2026 from 2.82 million tonnes a month earlier, according to Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB).

In its February industry performance report, MPOB said crude palm oil (CPO) stocks slipped 11.67 per cent or 195,242 tonnes in February to 1.48 million tonnes from 1.67 million tonnes in January.

“However, processed palm oil stockpiles climbed 7.37 per cent to 1.23 million tonnes from 1.14 million tonnes,” it said.

MPOB said CPO production fell 18.55 per cent, or 292,534 tonnes, to 1.28 million tonnes from 1.58 million tonnes in the previous month. Palm kernel output also slipped 19.48 per cent month on month to 303,962 tonnes from 377,480 tonnes.

Crude palm kernel oil production declined 26.29 per cent to 145,716 tonnes from 197,680 tonnes in January, while palm kernel cake output decreased 26.34 per cent to 158,237 tonnes from 214,820 tonnes.

Palm oil exports reduced 22.48 per cent in February 2026  to 1.13 million tonnes from 1.45 million tonnes a month earlier, while palm kernel oil exports shed 17.08 per cent to 45,845 tonnes from 55,288 tonnes a month earlier

Palm kernel cake exports slipped to 186,746 tonnes from 247,692 tonnes. Oleochemical exports dipped 7.49 per cent to 205,414 tonnes from 222,042 tonnes in January, and biodiesel exports slumped 14.86 per cent to 15,986 tonnes from 18,776 tonnes.

MPOB reported zero CPO imports in February, while imports of palm kernel oil dropped 17.98 per cent to 9,553 tonnes from 11,648 tonnes in the preceding month.
