KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, April 30 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Thursday, tracking weakness in the cash market.

At 9.55 am, the April 2026 contract fell 8.0 points to 1,712.0, while May 2026 lost 6.5 points to 1,711.5. June 2026 slipped 9.0 points to 1,711.5, and September 2026 dropped 10.5 points to 1,693.0.

Turnover stood at 3,533 lots, while open interest totalled 37,868 contracts.

After 58 minutes of trading, the FBM KLCI was down 2.57 points at 1,717.85, compared with Wednesday’s close of 1,720.42.
