Siti Nurhaliza, Judika Dec 14 Concert - Judika’s ‘Revenge Performance'
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 (Bernama) – Celebrated Indonesian vocalist, Judika, describes the upcoming concert with Malaysia’s pop queen, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin, on Dec 14, as a ‘revenge performance’, as it finally fulfils his long-time dream of sharing the stage with her on a prestigious platform.
“When I heard Datuk Siti Nurhaliza’s name, I was speechless because I’ve admired her for so long. So, when I was asked to do a concert with her, I immediately chose the date. It’s truly a dream come true to perform alongside her.
"During Datuk Siti Nurhaliza’s concert at Axiata Arena, I was just a guest. When I held my own concert there, I wanted to invite her to perform with me, but our schedules didn’t align. So, this upcoming concert will be my 'revenge concert' as I finally get the chance to collaborate with her," Judika shared during The Journey of Sound press conference.
The singer of Aku Yang Tersakiti also expressed his excitement about making history as one of the first singers to perform at the newly renovated Stadium Merdeka, which can accommodate up to 26,000 fans, especially since it is one of the country’s iconic venues.

Siti Nurhaliza describes Judika as a versatile singer and is confident that fans attending the concert organised by Universe Gateway will not be disappointed with the nearly three-hour performance.
"Judika is very easy to work with because if I give him songs by other artistes like Cakra Khan or Faizal Tahir, his voice fits perfectly, and he can even put his own style into it. I really enjoy it, especially when I get to share the stage with artistes who have charisma, character, and a captivating aura," she said.
The mother of Siti Aafiyah and Muhammad Afwa said that the song selection for the concert is still in discussion with both parties.
"The concept and song selection have not been finalised yet; we still need to sit down and discuss it together. But what’s certain is that, aside from the duets, I will have solo parts, and so will Judika," she said.
The Journey of Sound will be a mega concert featuring two singers from different countries, united by the common goal of strengthening and fostering the bond among music fans across the Nusantara region.
