BEIRUT, Nov 6 (Bernama-WAFA) -- At least 30 people were killed and 35 injured in Israeli strikes on Lebanon's Baalbek-Hermel governorate on Wednesday, the Palestine News Agency (WAFA) quoted the province's governor, Bashir Khodr.
According to local reports, seven people were killed when an airstrike struck the town of Al-Ein, near Baalbek in the Bekaa Valley.
Heavy bombardments also targeted the Dahieh district of Beirut, causing significant damage to buildings, infrastructure, and civilian facilities, with areas such as Haret Hreik, the Airport Road, and the American Neighbourhood among the hardest hit.
Additionally, Israeli fighter jets and artillery strikes impacted numerous cities and towns across southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, including Baalbek, Nabatieh and Hermel, along with smaller towns such as Deir Seryan, Boudai, Ansar and Taria.
Other regions across southern and eastern Lebanon sustained attacks, with towns like Kafr Rumman, Shuqra and Bent Jbeil suffering extensive damage as airstrikes continued across the country.
