KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 17 (Bernama) -- Recently awarded the prestigious Biduanita Negara (National Diva) title – an accolade previously bestowed upon the late Puan Sri Saloma, Datuk Sharifah Aini, Datuk Ahmad Jais and Tan Sri S.M. Salim – renowned singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin proved why she belongs to that distinguished list as she dazzled over 18,000 fans at the CUCKOOTOPIA Music Festival last night, held in conjunction with CUCKOO International's 10th anniversary celebration.
Performing her hit song ‘Bukan Cinta Biasa’ and a medley of other popular tracks, the mother of two expressed her gratitude for the recognition (Biduanita Negara award) she received last Wednesday and thanked her fans for their unwavering support throughout her career.
"This award is all part of God's plan, and I feel this is the result of nearly 30 years of hard work in the industry. It’s also thanks to the fans who have supported me," she said after her performance at the CUCKOOTOPIA Music Festival.

Although it rained, soaking fans who were enjoying the performances of Tomok and Siti Nordiana, it did nothing to dampen their spirits. Fans continued to cheer enthusiastically for the duo, who also performed their duet ‘Memori Mungkin Berulang’.
The temperature rose even more when powerhouse singer Jaclyn Victor broke the evening's chill with her hit song ‘Ikut Rentakku’. The singer, known for her commanding voice, interacted with the crowd, adding to the excitement of the concert.
Taking a moment to wish CUCKOO a ‘Happy 10th Anniversary’, the winner of the first season of ‘Malaysian Idol’ also dedicated her song ‘Gemilang’ to the company in celebration of its decade-long journey.

CUCKOO International chief executive officer KC Hoe said Kim's return as the brand ambassador for the company's 10th anniversary was particularly meaningful as it reflected the strong and enduring bond between the brand and the people of Malaysia.
"Kim was the global face of CUCKOO when CUCKOO International was first established in Malaysia. Now, 10 years later, he returns to join us at a pivotal moment – the start of a new decade and our new direction to inspire Malaysians to become their own ‘Healthy Home Creators’," he said.
