KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 23 (Bernama) -- The cast of South Korean TV variety show ‘Running Man’ will make their second appearance in Malaysia on Feb 15 through their ‘Running Man Run 2 U Live in Kuala Lumpur’ event, seven years after their last show here.
Six stars from the hit series, namely Jee Seok Jin, Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Jong Kook, HAHA, Song Ji Hyo and Yang Se Chan, will participate in the event at the Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre here, starting at 5 pm.
The show organiser Sunstrong Entertainment said in a press release that ‘Running Man’, which has been airing non-stop since its launch in 2010 with 732 episodes so far, remains popular worldwide.
“This (Kuala Lumpur event) is great news and a surprise for fans of Yoo Jae Seok and Yang Se Chan, who are visiting Malaysia for the first time.
“Yoo Jae Seok is loved by audiences as he is charismatic and humorous. Yang Se Chan is also loved for his comedic, serious and passionate style. Their interactions with the fans will certainly be entertaining,” it said.

‘Running Man’ is South Korea’s most iconic variety show, showcasing the humorous and heartwarming antics of its stars through creative games staged in South Korea as well as other international locations. The show has won millions of fans locally and internationally.
Since its television debut, ‘Running Man’ has received numerous awards, including the Most Popular Programme Award at the 4th SBS Entertainment Awards and Most Excellent Programme Award at the 5th SBS Entertainment Awards.
The programme also won the 2016 Insider Award for being the world’s most popular television programme and ranked first on the list of the most popular Korean TV variety shows on iQiyi Taiwan in 2018. It received the Korea Brand Loyalty Customer Award for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024 and the Brand of the Year Award in 2023 and 2024.
Fans eager to meet their favourite stars can purchase tickets starting Dec 26 through the Bookmyshow and TOYM websites. The tickets are priced at RM958, RM858, RM688, RM488, RM388 and RM288.
