Bank Islam Eyes 800 Sign-ups For Mastercard World Premier Wealth Credit Card-i This Year
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 17 (Bernama) -- Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd is targeting 800 sign-ups for its newly launched Bank Islam Mastercard World Premier Wealth Credit Card-i by the end of this year.
Bank Islam wealth management director Datin Zaharah Muttalib shared that the product is designed specifically for the bank’s premium wealth customers.
"Premier Wealth is a platform dedicated to our high-net-worth individual customers, tailored for those with Assets Under Management of RM250,000. With this, they qualify as Premier Wealth Customers," she said at the card's launching ceremony here, today.
Meanwhile, in a statement, Bank Islam highlighted that the exclusive, invitation-only credit card offers a unique combination of privileges and competitive benefits.
"As a special gesture of appreciation to our valued Premier Wealth clients, Bank Islam is offering 5,000 Enrich Points to the first 200 applicants who apply for the card and spend a minimum of RM500 by March 31, 2025," the bank said.
The Mastercard World Premier Wealth Credit Card-i also provides a variety of exclusive perks, including lifetime annual fee waivers and generous TruPoints rewards. These benefits are designed to elevate the lifestyle of Premier Wealth members.
Cardholders will enjoy numerous privileges, such as five times (5x) Plaza Premium lounge access annually at over 200 lounges across 37 countries.
Additionally, Bank Islam also offers generous TruPoints loyalty rewards: three times (3x) TruPoints on contactless transactions, two times (2x) TruPoints on overseas offline spend, and unlimited RM1 = 1 TruPoint on any retail spend.
Other benefits include travel accident personal coverage of up to RM2 million, group family Takaful coverage of up to RM100,000, and no compounding finance charges.

Furthermore, cardholders can use their accumulated TruPoints instantly on any purchase at over 100 million Mastercard-accepting merchants in Malaysia and worldwide, through the Pay with Rewards™ mobile app, an easy-to-use platform for tracking rewards and managing preferences.
