COPENHAGEN, Feb 4 (Bernama-dpa) -- Five people have been shot at a school in southern Sweden, reported German Press Agency (dpa), quoting police on Tuesday.
The severity of their injuries was initially unclear.
Police have called on people in the vicinity to stay away from the school, located in the city of Örebro, some 160 kilometres west of Stockholm.
Swedish news agency TT reported the perpetrator died, but police have yet to provide further information on the shooting.
Numerous police officers and emergency responders have been deployed to the school, local media reported.
Police said the students are being cared for at the school as well as at neighbouring schools.
TT reported the incident took place at an adult education centre at the Risbergska campus.
