KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 26 (Bernama) –In today’s digital age, where social media is a primary platform for sharing daily routines, actress Datin Lisa Surihani—known for her gentle demeanour—uses it as a force for positivity.
Despite having over 4.5 million Instagram followers, Lisa Surihani Mohamed emphasises that her posts are not driven by trends or attention-seeking but serve as personal reminders.
“Whatever I feel like sharing, I share. Sometimes we feel things individually, right? Maybe it's not right to speak for others, but sometimes when we share, it’s more of a reminder for ourselves," she said when met by Bernama after the Hikayat Ariani Fashion Show at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Lisa Surihani, wife of renowned composer and director Datuk Yusry Abdul Halim, shares content on Instagram that resonates with her—whether through quotes or reflections on her personal experiences.
"More often than not, when we come across something—a quote or a message that seems to touch the heart—we feel like, ‘This is a good reminder for me’ or ‘This could help me in some way,’" said the mother of three.
The Istanbul Aku Datang actress acknowledges that her posts may resonate with her followers, offering encouragement to those in need of uplifting words during difficult times.
"If others feel touched or find comfort in them, Alhamdulillah. Perhaps it might help someone going through a similar experience," said the 39-year-old actress.
