Ernie Zakri, Dolla & Insomniacks To Rock Singapore This Year

PETALING JAYA, Feb 26 (Bernama) – This year will be a vibrant one for local and Singaporean music fans as SAH Entertainment has announced an exclusive collaboration with Universal Music Malaysia to organise four mega concerts featuring Ernie Zakri, DOLLA and Insomniacks.

The concerts, set to take place in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, will not only showcase the talents of these artistes but also strengthen the influence of Malaysia’s music industry on the international stage.

SAH Entertainment managing director Sufi Rashid said this initiative is a strategic move to provide more opportunities for Malaysian singers and pop groups to expand their reach regionally.

"SAH Entertainment is honoured to bring Ernie Zakri, DOLLA and Insomniacks to a wider market. The collaboration with Universal Music Malaysia also serves as a catalyst in elevating the nation's music industry," he said at a press conference here yesterday.

The concert lineup in Singapore comprises Ernie Zakri Live in Singapore on May 31, DOLLA Live in Singapore in August and Insomniacks Live in Singapore in November, all at Capitol Theatre. Insomniacks’  Live in Kuala Lumpur concert is slated for July 19 at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.

Meanwhile, Universal Music Malaysia managing director Kim Lim said they are confident that this collaboration will boost the names of Ernie Zakri, DOLLA and Insomniacks in the regional music industry.

"SAH Entertainment has an excellent track record in organising concerts, and we believe this project will not only highlight local talent but also contribute to the growth of the music ecosystem in Southeast Asia," she said.

‘Aura’ and ‘Masing-Masing’ singer Ernie Zakri expressed her excitement about meeting fans in Singapore for the first time.

"I am thrilled about my first solo concert in Singapore and I am sure the support from Singaporean fans will be incredible. I can't wait to be there, and this will definitely be a very special experience," she said.

DOLLA and Insomniacks are also very excited about their first international solo concerts and have promised to give their best performances.
