Jualan Kasih Johor To Offer Up To 70 Per Cent Discounts At 57 Locations

JOHOR BAHRU, March 4 (Bernama) -- The Jualan Kasih Johor programme will continue this year in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration at 57 locations across the state, offering discounts of up to 70 per cent.

State Agriculture, Agro-based Industry and Rural Development Committee chairman Datuk Zahari Sarip said similar to past festive seasons, the state-organised sale is part of ongoing efforts to help ease the people's cost of living.

He said the Aidilfitri edition of Jualan Kasih Johor, in collaboration with the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA), will be held from March 22 to 29.

“This sale will offer discounts between 50 to 70 per cent on essential food items, including chicken, fish and seafood, eggs, and two-litre cooking oil.

“FAMA will also provide discounts on other necessities such as beef, vegetables, fruits, groceries, and agro-based industry products,” he said in a statement today.

He added that this year’s event aims to attract over 200,000 visitors and will involve more than 300 entrepreneurs. The launch will take place on March 22 at the Bandar Tenggara R&R area in Kota Tinggi.

“The Johor state government has allocated RM6.6 million for the Jualan Kasih Johor programme under the 2025 budget. Since its introduction in 2023, the state government has spent a total of RM12.4 million on this initiative,” he said.
