KOTA KINABALU, Oct 16 (Bernama) -- Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil today inspected the implementation of the BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) system at the Petronas Jalan Lintas Kepayan here, to assess, among others, the stability of the internet connection that serves as the backbone of the system.

Also present were Communications Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Mohamad Fauzi Md Isa and Community Communications Department (J-KOM) director-general Datuk Ismail Yusop.

The visit also aimed to gather direct feedback from petrol station operators and consumers regarding the implementation of the BUDI95 system.

The Ministry of Communications, through the J-KOM, will continue to monitor the system’s implementation to ensure the dissemination of clear and inclusive information, as well as to drive continuous improvements based on public feedback - in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI.

BUDI95, which relies on a stable internet connection, has demonstrated strong performance since its full implementation on Sept 30.

Meanwhile, according to a statement issued by J-KOM, a fast and reliable internet connection is crucial to ensure eligibility verification and transaction processing are carried out efficiently.

“Since its rollout, the BUDI95 system has recorded stable performance, with the capability to process tens of thousands of transactions per minute, underscoring its effectiveness as a robust platform for implementing a more accurate, efficient and equitable subsidy system,” it said.
