Three Foreign Men Arrested Over Double Murder Case In Juru

BUKIT MERTAJAM, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- Police have arrested three foreign men to assist in investigations into the double murder of a woman and her daughter at a house in Kampung Sekolah Juru here last Saturday.

Penang police chief told Bernama that the three were arrested separately today, two men in Kulim, Kedah and the third in Selangor.

"The three, who are in their 30s to 40s, all know each other,” he said, adding that they would be remanded tomorrow at the Bukit Mertajam Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.

He said the victim’s husband, 57, would also be taken to court and freed on police bail upon the end of his remand period tomorrow.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
