Haj Appeal Applications For 2026 Season To Open Nov 3 - Tabung Haji

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27 (Bernama) -- Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) will open applications for appeals to perform the haj for the 1447H/2026 season through its THiJARI mobile application and website beginning Nov 3.

TH Haj Department head Mohd Hisham Harun said the appeal process was being opened earlier to give prospective pilgrims ample time to make the necessary preparations and to ensure the process runs smoothly.

“For out-of-turn haj appeal applications for the upcoming season, several merit criteria will be considered, including the registration period, age, average account balance in TH, frequency of appeal applications and attendance at the Basic Haj Course conducted by TH,” he said in a statement today.

In the same statement, TH said the haj appeal application was open to depositors who had a minimum savings balance of RM15,000 in their TH accounts.

The haj cost set for those selected through the appeal process is RM33,300 for the 1447H/2026 haj season, in line with the concept of ‘istitoah’ (financial capability).

“As in previous years, TH will prioritise appeal applications from ‘mahram’ (chaperones), escorts for elderly pilgrims, and companions of selected pilgrims with disabilities (OKU) for the 1447H/2026 haj season,” the statement added.
