KUALA NERUS, Oct 31 (Bernama) -- Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) extended their Super League winning streak to nine consecutive wins with an emphatic 5-0 win over Terengganu FC (TFC) at Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium tonight.
Tonight’s win featured a personal hattrick by Jairo Da Silva, who came on as a substitute in the second half, slotting in JDT’s last three goals of the match, in the 63rd, 70th and 76th minute.
The league leaders had already carved out a comfortable 2-0 lead in the first half, Bergson Da Silva scoring the first goal in the fourth minute, followed by Romel Morales, tucking in the second goal in the 30th minute.
As expected, JDT maintain their place at the top of the league with 27 points, while tonight’s loss means TFC remains fourth with 13 points from eight matches.
