Four Landslides, Three Fallen Trees Reported In Kuala Lumpur Today - Fire Dept

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 (Bernama) -- Four landslides and three fallen trees were reported in Kuala Lumpur after continuous heavy rain since yesterday.

The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Operations Centre said that the three reports of fallen trees were at Jalan Ang Seng 4, Brickfields at 9.24 am; Jalan Langgak Golf, Taman U Thant at 11.10 am and Jalan Kiara 5, Desa Kiaramas at 5.45 pm.

The four landslides were reported to have occurred at Block C Pangsapuri Kos Rendah Jalan Sepadu 6, Taman United at 11.02 am; Jalan Maarof, Bangsar at 11.20 am; Jalan Medang Tanduk, Bukit Bandaraya at 3.24 pm; and Sri Lempah Flats, Lorong Jugra – Jalan Klang Lama at 4.32 pm.

"Firefighters were at all locations conducting observation and rescue work with the assistance of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s emergency units,” the department said in a statement.

Firefighters were still at the locations that require observation, it added.
