MetMalaysia Issues Tropical Depression Warning Near Kemaman, Terengganu

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued a warning on a tropical depression moving north-northeast at a speed of about two kilometres per hour (km/h), located roughly 50 km southeast of Kemaman, Terengganu.

MetMalaysia’s National Weather and Earthquake Operations Centre, in a statement, said the storm could generate maximum wind speeds of up to 56 km/h.

According to the centre, the weather conditions may bring continuous heavy rain, strong winds and rough seas over the South China Sea.
