Johor Bahru, Nov 24 (Bernama) -- Chief executive officer of Ranhill SAJ, Anuar Abdul Ghani, died this afternoon at KPJ Abdul Samad Specialist Hospital here following a heart attack. He was 62.
Anuar, a well-respected figure in the water treatment industry both nationally and internationally, had nearly four decades of experience in the sector. He is survived by his wife and three children.
During his tenure, Ranhill SAJ achieved several key milestones, including enhanced operational efficiency, the adoption of advanced technologies and recording the lowest non-revenue water (NRW) rate in the country.
The late Anuar will be laid to rest at the Kampung Makam Dagang Muslim Cemetery in Kota Tinggi tomorrow morning.
The news was confirmed by Ranhill SAJ Corporate Communications head Ahmad ‘Asri Khalbi.
