KOTA KINABALU, Nov 27 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is undertaking a busy programme in Kota Kinabalu and surrounding districts today, involving various community events and engagement sessions with local residents.
His visit begins with a meeting with local community leaders and Tuaran entrepreneur groups at the Bajau Samah Cultural Hall in Sulaman, Tuaran at 10 am.
He will then proceed to the PMX Sayang Sabah engagement at the Bandau state constituency in Kota Marudu, about 124 kilometres from here.
In the afternoon, Anwar is scheduled to attend the PMX Townhall with Inanam Youth at BTC Bistro, Inanam at 2.50 pm to hear the aspirations and needs of young people.
This will be followed by his attendance at the Harapan Urang Sabah Carnival at the open space opposite the Petagas Police Station at 4.30 pm, before joining a dinner with the Chinese community of the Api-Api state constituency at the Putera Ballroom in Luyang at 6.30 pm.
The Prime Minister’s visit will conclude with the Api-Api Grand Finale with PMX at Likas Stadium parking grounds here, starting at 8 pm.
A total of 1.76 million registered voters will cast their ballots in the 17th Sabah state election this Saturday.
