KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 1 (Bernama) -- "ASEAN Economy", a new policy-focused and practice-oriented reference book designed to help businesses decode regional trends, was officially unveiled recently at the ASEAN Technology Cooperation and Development Summit 2025.
The book provides a structured analytical framework for foreign and local enterprises seeking to understand ASEAN’s evolving landscape, said SOMO Group in a statement.
It stated that the release of this publication is regarded as timely, given Malaysia’s role as ASEAN Chair in 2025, particularly as the region enters a phase of accelerated integration and intensified technological competition.
Following the launch, SOMO Group also announced that it will roll out an ASEAN-wide roadshow and policy forum series beginning in 2026.
The initiative will convene government agencies, investment promotion bodies, business chambers, technology institutions and multinational companies across multiple countries.
Through policy dialogues, industry-focused discussions, regional networking and ecosystem engagement, the programme aims to strengthen cross-border knowledge exchange and deepen cooperation across the ASEAN economic corridor.
The first stop of the regional tour will be Malaysia, reflecting its role as a central gateway for global investors entering Southeast Asia.
