SEA Games 2025: Malaysian Men's Team Settle For Silver, Again

BANGKOK, Dec 17 (Bernama) -- Malaysia had to settle for silver in the Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) men’s team event after losing to the Philippines today.

The national team were trounced 4-0 by the defending champions in the best-of-seven showdown at the Sala Phra Kieo, Chulalongkorn University.

The national team comprised Idreen Abdul Jamal (EXP Laner), Muhammad Haqqullah (Jungler), Hazziq Danish (Mid Laner), Muhammad Qayyum (Roamer) dan Ealtond Rayner (Gold Laner).

In the 2023 edition in Cambodia, Malaysia also had to be contented with a silver after losing 3-0 to the Philippines 3-0.

The national women’s squad, meanwhile, will continue their quest for gold when they take on the Philippines later today.
