Silver Price Hits New All-time Record, Exceeding US$91 Per Troy Ounce - Trading Data

MOSCOW, Jan 14 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- The silver exchange price hit a new record on Wednesday, surpassing US$91 per troy ounce for the first time in history, according to morning trading data.

As of 4.23 GMT on Wednesday, the price of March silver futures on the New York Comex exchange rose 5.27 per cent to US$90.905 per ounce. Minutes earlier, the figure reached a new all-time high of US$91.343 per ounce.
