JKNNS Probes Allegations Restaurant Workers Washing Leftovers For Reuse

SEREMBAN, Feb 3 (Bernama) -- The Negeri Sembilan State Health Department (JKNNS) is investigating allegations that employees of a restaurant in this district are believed to be washing leftover food to resell the next day.

Its director, Dr Zuraida Mohamed said her department was informed about the matter this morning, and health enforcement officers had gone to the premises for an inspection.

Further investigations are underway, and any action related to this incident will be announced later.

"We take this matter seriously as it involves public safety and health," she told Bernama here today.

Today, a video and photographs were uploaded on Facebook by a user showing restaurant workers believed to be washing leftover food like chicken and meat to reuse the next day.
