Selangor MB Extends Condolences To Meru Rep Over Husband's Passing

SHAH ALAM, April 7 (Bernama) -- Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari has conveyed his condolences to Meru assemblywoman Mariam Abdul Rashid over her husband’s passing early this morning.

“Innalillahi wainnailaihi rojiun. I extend my condolences to Yang Berhormat Mariam Abdul Rashid, Meru assemblywoman, on the passing of her husband, Abu Bakar Din.

“May his soul be blessed, all his sins forgiven, and may he be placed among the believers. Allahumma firghlahu warhamhu wa’afihi wa’fuanhu,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Earlier, Mariam, through her Facebook account, said her husband passed away at 12.30 am today.

“His remains were brought back to his residence in Kampung Merbau Sempak, Sungai Buloh, and funeral arrangements are being carried out today,” she said.
