KUALA LUMPUR, April 10 (Bernama) -- The government will strengthen strategic cooperation with the Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia (DPMM) to empower the local workforce and improve access to training facilities for the Malay business community.
Human Resource Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan said the matter was discussed during a recent meeting with a DPMM delegation led by its president, Norsyahrin Hamidon.
He said the meeting provided a meaningful platform for engagement between the government and the Malay business community, particularly in expanding access to training and enhancing strategic cooperation between the ministry and the chamber.
“The views, suggestions and aspirations shared by DPMM are greatly appreciated,” he said in a Facebook post today.
Ramanan said the MADANI Government remains committed to ensuring that efforts to empower the local workforce are strengthened in an inclusive, sustainable and high-impact manner for the advancement of the national economy.
