KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, May 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today, tracking the gains in the cash market.

At 9.30 am, the May 2026 contract rose 0.5 points to 1,754.50, the June 2026 contract added 1.0 point to 1,754.0, the September 2026 contract increased 5.0 points to 1,737.0, while the December 2026 contract stood at 1,736.0.

Turnover stood at 1,088 lots, while open interest totalled 34,208 contracts.

The FBM KLCI advanced by 9.63 points to 1,754.94 from Monday's close of 1,745.31 after 48 minutes of trading.
