KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, May 25 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Monday.

At 9.30 am, the May 2026 contract fell 3.5 points to 1,715.50, while the June 2026 and September 2026 contracts each eased 2.0 points to 1,714.50 and 1,695.50, respectively. The December 2026 contract slipped 1.5 points to 1,697.50.

Turnover stood at 8,710 lots, while open interest totalled 38,862 contracts.

At 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI index was down 3.97 points at 1,708.70, compared with Friday’s close of 1,712.67.
