MOSCOW, July 16 (Bernama-Sputnik) -- US billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk plans to give US$45 million a month to a new political-action committee in support of former US President Donald Trump's re-election campaign, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources, according to Sputnik.

The America PAC committee, formed in June, focuses on voter registration, and its work in swing states will also include encouraging early voting and requesting absentee ballots, the report said on Monday.

Other backers of the committee include Palantir Technologies, as well as former US ambassador to Canada Kelly Kraft and her husband Joe Kraft, who is chief executive officer of coal mining company Alliance Resource Partners, the newspaper added.
