KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower, tracking the performance of the underlying cash market.
Spot month July 2024 eased 12 points to 1,614.5, August 2024 gave up 9.0 points to 1,617.0, September 2024 slid 9.5 points to 1,600 and December 2024 reduced 11.5 points to 1,607.0.
Turnover declined to 36,953 lots from 91,049 lots on Monday, while open interest decreased to 96,386 contracts from 143,335 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 12.62 points or 0.78 per cent to 1,611.94 from yesterday's close of 1,624.56.
