US ATHLETE MCLAUGHLIN-LEVRONE BREAKS HER OWN WORLD RECORD IN WOMEN'S 400M HURDLES

ANKARA, Aug 9 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- US athlete Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone broke her own world record in women's 400m hurdles at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Thursday.

McLaughlin-Levrone improved her own record for the sixth time to 50.37 seconds to bag the gold medal, Anadolu Agency reported.

The Olympic record of 51.46 seconds also belongs to the 25-year-old.

Her compatriot Anna Cockrell won the silver medal with 51.87 seconds, while Dutch Femke Bol took bronze with 52.15 seconds.
