KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) today introduced its special website for the Malaysia Games (SUKMA) Sarawak 2024.
The website can be reached at sukma.bernama.com.
It offers news related to all contingents, and achievements as well as interesting stories of athletes involved in the biennial games scheduled to take place across nine divisions of Sarawak from Aug 17 to 24.
In addition, the bilingual website will also provide the latest results of events, in addition to photos, videos, daily medal tally, and interesting fact sheets about the 21st edition of SUKMA.
SUKMA Sarawak 2024 will feature 37 sports, with 488 events comprising 236 men’s events, 217 women’s events and 35 mixed events. The games will be held across the nine divisions, namely Kuching, Samarahan, Serian, Sri Aman, Betong, Sibu, Mukah, Bintulu and Miri.
Since its inception in 1986, SUKMA has been hosted in Sarawak twice, in 1990 and 2016.
