SHAH ALAM, Aug 23 (Bernama) -- Takaful Ikhlas Family Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Bhd, targets RM2 million in contributions from 2,000 new certificates through its latest product, Ikhlas Lindung.
President and chief executive officer Muhammad Fikri Mohamad Rawi said Ikhlas Lindung is in line with its efforts to offer innovative and relevant takaful products with easy application to meet society’s needs.
“Just last night, there were 280 successful cases with around RM360,000 in contributions.
“Through Ikhlas Lindung, we hope to provide easy and optimum protection to every individual without a complicated (application) process, medical examination or background checks,” he told Bernama after launching Ikhlas Lindung at the Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM) 2024 event here today.
The MSAM 2024 is currently taking place at the Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam, Selangor, until Sunday, Aug 25.
Muhammad Fikrii said Ikhlas Lindung offers customers many benefits, including death coverage, total permanent disabilities, additional accidental death benefits and accelerated death expenses.
He said five protection plans are available to meet the needs and requirements of Takaful Ikhlas customers.
“We are confident that Ikhlas Lindung can benefit our customers greatly and help them plan for a more secure future.
“Introducing Ikhlas Lindung at the MSAM is in line with the event’s objective to increase public awareness of the importance of financial investment and management.
“Our aim is for a society that is more aware of takaful needs and see it as an important component in their financial planning,” he said.
The public can also subscribe to Ikhlas Lindung from Takaful Ikhlas representatives nationwide.
The product is also available at the Takaful Ikhlas exhibition counter in MSAM 2024 or Takaful Ikhlas satellite counters in selected locations nationwide in conjunction with MSAM 2024.
Subscribers of takaful family products from Takaful Ikhlas agents at MSAM 2024 exhibitions or Takaful Ikhlas satellite counters nationwide have the chance to win one of 10 ASNB certificates worth RM500 each through the Rezeki Ikhlas draw.
