SUSPECT IN GERMANY’S SOLINGEN KNIFE ATTACK SURRENDERS TO POLICE: REPORTS

BERLIN, Aug 25 (Bernama-Sputnik) -- The suspect in the terrorist attack in the German city of Solingen, which resulted in the death of three people, surrendered to the police on Saturday evening, reported Sputnik, citing the Bild daily.

On Saturday, ISIS claimed responsibility for a knife attack at a festival in the German city of Solingen, in which three people had been killed and another eight injured.

Almost 26 hours after the terrorist attack, the perpetrator surrendered to the police in the evening, the newspaper reported.

According to Bild, the suspect is a Syrian citizen. Soaked in the rain and covered in blood, he approached the police and said: "I'm the one you're looking for."
