KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 30 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were weaker this morning despite better performance in the underlying cash market.
As of 9.30 am, August 2024 futures fell 2.5 points to 1,655.5, September 2024 and December 2024 each decreased by 3.5 points to 1,634.5 and 1,641.0, respectively, and March 2024 trimmed 2.0 points to 1,628.5.
Turnover was 4,737 lots, with open interest at 55,570 contracts.
By 9.40 am, the FBM KLCI had risen by 6.31 points to 1,659.86, compared to Thursday's close of 1,653.55.
