MOSCOW, Sept 3 (Bernama-Sputnik) -- US tech billionaire and X owner Elon Musk warned on Tuesday that Apple and Google would follow Brazil in banning the social networking service if Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris were to win the election, reported Sputnik.

"The fake judge is forcing Apple and Google to remove X from their app stores... this will happen here (in the United States) if Kamala is elected," Musk said on X.

On Aug 30, Brazilian Supreme Court Judge Alexandre de Moraes ordered X's  suspension in the country after Musk refused to appoint a new legal representative for the social network. In mid-August, X published a letter from de Moraes with demands for censorship and user account information that it said could affect users not only in Brazil, but also in the United States and Argentina.
