NEW DELHI, Sept 30 (Bernama) -- Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Abdulla Khaleel as the country's new foreign minister in a cabinet reshuffle.
Abdulla earlier held the portfolio of health, which will now be managed by new Health Minister Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, according to a statement issued by the president's office.
The outgoing foreign minister, Moosa Zameer, has been named the finance minister.
Moosa replaces Mohamed Shafeeq, who resigned on Monday.
