KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 (Bernama) -- Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd has launched the Complimentary Multi-Claim Critical Illness (CI) coverage campaign, which provides its customers with a vital safety net not just for their first CI diagnosis but for future diagnoses as well.
In a statement today, Allianz Life said the company offered coverage that extends beyond a single critical illness claim, ensuring that customers remain protected when they need it most to ease its customers’ burden.
“Unlike conventional CI riders that cease coverage after a full claim is made, Allianz Life’s complimentary coverage protects customers against future diagnoses, providing true peace of mind for them and their families.
“This enhanced coverage reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering innovative insurance solutions that prioritise the long-term well-being of customers,” it said.
The company noted that the benefits under the campaign include protection for multiple diagnoses, whereby customers can continue to receive financial support for new critical illness diagnoses even after a full payout of their critical illness rider.
It added that when customers purchase Allianz UltimateLink with CI riders like Prime Care+ or HealthCover Plus, they become eligible for complimentary critical illness coverage, offering up to 320 per cent of the insured amount across multiple claims.
“Prime Care+ offers a 20 per cent payout for early-stage CI or angioplasty and other invasive treatments for coronary artery disease, and up to 300 per cent for advanced-stage CI,” it said.
Meanwhile, HealthCover Plus provides up to 300 per cent coverage for advanced-stage CI.
Allianz Life also noted that for the campaign, claims can be made until policy maturity, with customers having the flexibility to claim multiple times, ensuring that coverage remains intact throughout the policy’s term.
It said that to be eligible for the benefits, customers must purchase Allianz UltimateLink with CI riders, Prime Care+ or HealthCover Plus from now until Nov 30, 2024.
Additionally, Allianz Life intends to reward its customers who take proactive steps towards health security.
“The Allianz iWant Giveaway allows the customers to stand a chance to win one of three brand-new iPhone 16 devices, alongside 300 RM150 Touch ‘n Go eWallet Reload PIN,” it said.
Meanwhile, its chief executive officer Charles Ong said its Complimentary Multi-Claim CI coverage allows the customers to focus on their recovery without worrying about losing their financial safety net after their first claim.
