The 7th Hanoi International Film Festival will take place from 7 to  11 November and will feature 117 films from 51 countries. The festival is aimed at promoting the Vietnamese cinema industry and positioning the country as an exciting destination for filmmakers.

Vietnam aims to be among the top three ASEAN countries in terms of industrial competitiveness. By the end of the decade, the sector's share in GDP will exceed 40 per cent. The government plans to build more domestic international-standard industrial clusters.
