DUBAI, Nov 19 (Bernama) -- Callabio Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, a “coffee syrup” manufacturing company based in Malaysia, expects potential sales of more than RM50 million through the International Sourcing Programme (INSP) taking place at the MIHAS@Dubai 2024 exhibition.

Its owner Mohamad Shahir Mohamad Suhaimi said throughout the INSP, his company received many offers from buyers based in Dubai and other places with the help of the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).

“MATRADE helped us a lot to meet the right buyers. Throughout INSP, we got many potential buyers from Dubai and many were interested in our products.

“Our product is a coffee syrup product that does not have many competitors but has high demand. We have also signed several MoUs with companies from Dubai, India and the United States," he told Bernama on the sidelines of the MIHAS@Dubai 2024 exhibition here today.

For the first day of the exhibition, he said Callabio had registered an export potential of RM16 million, while to date, the company has more than 30 companies showing interest in its products with sales potential estimated to exceed RM40 million.

"The INSP by MATRADE helps local bumiputra entrepreneurs to expand their products internationally.

"This is a very good programme for entrepreneurs in Malaysia and I hope MATRADE can continue programmes like this and expand MIHAS to other countries,” he said.

The INSP initiative is a strategic platform that connects Malaysian exporters with international buyers fostering valuable networking opportunities and trade discussions.

Through INSP, participating companies have the chance to showcase their unique halal-certified products and services directly to potential partners from around the world.

By integrating INSP into MIHAS@Dubai, MATRADE is reinforcing its commitment to supporting Malaysian businesses in building strong international networks, which are essential for sustained growth and global market expansion in the halal sector.
