KOTA BHARU, Nov 21 (Bernama) -- The Kelantan government has announced a special financial assistance of RM500 for state civil servants.
Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud said the payment would be disbursed in February next year as a token of appreciation for their contributions and sacrifices.
“As recognition for the service and dedication of state civil servants who have carried out their duties with integrity in developing the state, I am announcing a Special Financial Assistance of RM500 per person for all civil servants in Grade 56 and below, including contract appointees.
“The payment will be disbursed in February 2025 and the financial implication of this initiative is RM4.97 million,” he said when tabling the Kelantan Budget 2025 during the state assembly sitting at Kota Darulnaim today.
Mohd Nassuruddin said the special financial assistance would also be extended to political appointees, with the amount to be determined by the state government.
