According to a statement, 14 geographical indication brands in Guangxi have been included in the list of top 100 Chinese brands, ranking second in China.

In the past five years, Guangxi has developed 18 advantageous zones for Chinese agricultural products and 68 advantageous zones for its local produce. In 2023, the autonomous region produced 1,739 green, organic, and agricultural products of geographical indications, with a total area of 16.58 million mu and a total output value exceeding 50 billion Chinese yuan.

Guangxi’s agricultural industry has long been a source of wealth for its residents. With extensive resources in forestry, fruit, vegetables, animal husbandry, and cane sugar, the province is dubbed China’s "fruit kingdom" and "vegetable basket".

The region leads the nation in fruit production, including citrus, persimmon, dragon fruit, and passion fruit, with citrus alone surpassing 18 million tonnes in 2023. Well-known agricultural brands such as "Guiqi Mango" and "Qinmi Passion Fruit" have gained national and international recognition.

Guangxi’s agricultural success is supported by a modern, specialised farming system designed to accelerate growth in sectors like grain, sugar, vegetables, fruit, livestock, and fisheries.

The region is home to multiple high-value industrial clusters and has been recognised as one of the top agricultural producers in China for years. Through efforts to improve product quality and foster brand development, Guangxi has established 641 agricultural brands with a combined value of over 500 billion Chinese yuan.
