KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives finished higher today, tracking the underlying cash market’s performance.
At the close, the December 2024 contract rose 8.5 points to 1,605.0 and January 2025 gained 6.5 points to 1,608.0, while March 2025 and June 2025 increased 7.5 points each to 1,592.5 and 1,598.0, respectively.
Turnover improved to 32,660 lots from 14,024 lots on Tuesday, while open interest widened to 72,637 contracts against 53,432 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 10.71 points or 0.67 per cent to 1,613.70 compared with Tuesday's close of 1,602.99.
